Join the #RefillRevolution

We’re proud to support Refill – a national campaign committed to stopping plastic pollution at source by making it easier to find free tap water on the go than buying a single use plastic bottle. A million plastic bottles are bought around the world every minute and the number is set to increase a further 20% by 2021.

Refill are calling on the public to join them for a National Refill Day on 27 September to help raise awareness of the issue and show the nation how easy it is to switch to a reusable bottle and Refill on the go.

This year we worked with our colleagues and partners to distribute 46,500 reusable bottles to our customers in the North West. If the 12,000 Refill Stations signed up to the Refill scheme were used just ONCE a day, together we’d stop more than 4 million plastic bottles at source each year!
