There can be various reasons why you can’t update your app:
Your Devices Operating System is Outdated
To keep the app secure, it only works on:
- Android: Version 10 or later
- iOS: Version 11.0 or later
How to check your operating system version:
- Android: Go to Settings > About phone
- iOS: Go to Settings > General > About
How to update your operating system:
- Android: Go to Settings > Software Update
- iOS: Go to Settings > General > Software Update
If your device can’t be updated to meet these requirements, the app won’t be compatible.
Poor Internet Connection
Your device will need to be connected to the internet and have a strong enough connection to be able to download or update the app.
Device Storage
Make sure your device has enough free space to download and install the update.
Alternative Option
If your device isn’t compatible, you can still manage your account online via My Account to make payments, submit meter reads and more.
