Our Billing Back Office Team Managers lead, manage and motivate our Customer Advisors to achieve performance targets at a team and individual level. A key focus of this role is to ensure that our customers receive excellent customer service at every contact; therefore one of the main priorities in this job is to ensure, through strong leadership skills, that your team members deliver just that.
Aside from being responsible for managing the team's performance, Team Managers are also responsible for holding regular one-to-one performance reviews, as well as providing individual coaching and feedback.
In addition to the people management aspects of the job, the Back Office Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that their team meets the regulatory targets set by our regulator, OFWAT. Therefore, they must be able to have the right resource, at the right time and working on the right activity to ensure that these targets are met. As such, ability to interpret data and reports are important skills we look for in applicants for this role.
