We have the dedicated training and support to help you develop and reach your potential.

From technical and specialist training, to mentoring and coaching – we have lots on offer to help you become the best leader you can be.

A helping hand

imagesManagers, mentors and buddies will also be on hand to help you get to grips with your new role. You can expect regular reviews and twice-yearly appraisals to keep you on track.

They’re a friendly bunch and will show you the ropes – there’s quite a lot to get your head around.

iCHEME Silver Award logoIf you’re selected for the scheme, our one piece of advice would be to get stuck in! Your placements will take you all over our business to understand how we work. There’s also the opportunity to attend internal courses and you’ll have the opportunity to attend industry events, helping you to further expand your knowledge of the water industry.

helping hand“My favourite part of the graduate scheme so far would have to be the development in the technology I first picked up as part of the CEO challenge. During the challenge, I trialled a new piece of equipment. Since the trial, it’s become a live project, led by myself. Getting the equipment powered up and running to help solve a business need, which is saving UU money was a great feeling.”
