Our Customer Relations Support Assistant jobs provide office administration and postal support to the Customer Relations department.  They also liaise with the Consumer Council for Water on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of cases that they are dealing with on behalf of our customers.

In addition, the role is responsible for managing the flow of work to others within the department, ensuring that it is correctly routed and assigned, as well as adhering to regulatory targets.

Ability to understand and work to these regulatory targets, as well as being organised and efficient are key skills and attributes we look for when we recruit for this role. Management of work flow items, as well as handling internal and external contacts to tight deadlines are the main day-to-day tasks which is why we need organised and efficient people in this role. 

Customer Relations Support Assistants must be able to work as part of a team, working closely with Customer Relations colleagues and Team Managers, as well as able to quickly build up a full understanding of the regulatory rules and guidelines that the department and organisation must work within. In addition, good written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work in a challenging and pressurised environment.
