ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the effective quality management of an organisation. It applies to business processes and creates controls around the products and services an organisation supplies. The standard allows an organisation to monitor its key business processes for their effectiveness and, where shortfalls are identified, ensures that appropriate corrective action is taken to ensure conformity. This standard demands continual improvement of the quality management system.
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for the effective environmental management of an organisation. The standard requires an organisation to identify aspects of its activities, products and services that have or can have significant impacts on the environment and to understand the environmental legislation and regulations that are relevant to these aspects.
The organisation must then take the necessary steps to ensure that it complies with these requirements and controls its business processes to minimise harmful effects on the environment. This standard demands continual improvement of the environmental management system.
Health & Safety
Our Health & Safety (H&S) Management System sets the minimum expectations for health & safety management. They are identified at topic level and derived from a multitude of standards, codes of practice and business principles.
This system is certified in accordance with OHSAS 18001.
OHSAS 18001 is an internationally recognised standard intended to provide organisations with the elements of an effective Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management system. The standard is applicable to any organisation that wishes to:
- establish an OH&S management system to eliminate or minimise risks to personnel and other interested parties who could be exposed to OH&S hazards associated with its activities
- implement, maintain and continually improve an OH&S management system
- assure itself of its conformity with its stated OH&S policy
