The daily demands for a reliable supply of water are ever-increasing. However we can't just look for today - we need to look years and even decades ahead to safeguard the environment and the precious natural resource it provides.

We see ourselves as stewards of these resources and 7 million people rely on us to deliver an outstanding service. Our ability to do so has made us a successful FTSE 100 business and one with 5000 employees. You could make it 5001.

Our network of pipes and sewers, if laid end to end, would stretch 80,000 km - twice around the world. That's why we need the brightest and the best fresh talent to make sure everything flows smoothly - both now and in the future. The work you do with us could still be giving benefits for generations.

Apprenticeship Scheme

We've build a strong reputation for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions to serve the needs of our customers, protect the environment and plan for the future.

For this task we need a constant stream of the very best apprentices. The aim of our apprentice scheme is simple; to support you in tapping into your potential and helping you be the best you can be.

The application stage for this year closed on 4 March 2012. Vacancies for next years apprenticeship scheme will be advertised from January 2013.
